The home is an imposing double story Victorian residence which needed to be enlarged and updated for a young family. Being a heritage listed listed property, we had to work within the requirements of the consultant heritage architect. This required the new exterior works to be a sympathetic interpretation to the original home. Most of the work is internal, with modest additions to the rear.

On the ground floor, the rear was extended and opened up to accommodate open plan living dining and kitchen. A substantial new terrace was added to the large rear garden, accessed form the newly created public living spaces. The upper floor bedrooms were reworked and rationalised to create a new master bedroom with en suite, a refurbished family bathroom, with a new bedroom crated over the rear addition.

Subsequent to the completion of the home, one of the owners was so inspired by the design process, that she embarked upon a landscaping degree, and she utiliised her newfound skills to redesign the entire garden with stunning results.
